Searching for my Juan True Love
For those of you who know my true identity (I don’t do a very good job of keeping it a secret), I LOVE dating. First dates, talking about dating, writing about dating, giving dating advice, helping amigos with their dating app profiles and pretty much everything in between. I mean… obviously… since I have a dating blog, I love it.
And now that you know how much I love love, hopefully you, as my faithful reader, will love reading about it while I’m on my world-wide journey for the next year.
I’m a participant on a program called Remote Year, and I’m currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina with a group of 75 like-minded travelers from all over the world. We each have our own stories, backgrounds and jobs that have allowed us to be together for the year. And let me just tell you, it’s frickin’ awesome.
What on earth could be better than traveling the earth with my friends, while keeping my same job that I previously held in NYC? I not only get to explore the world, but I get to keep my paycheck while doing it. I swear I’m not trying to brag, but I feel like the luckiest person to have gotten this amazing opportunity.
For the next 11 months, I’ll be living and working in 11 different countries around the world. I’m currently on month 2 of the adventure, and am so excited (!!!!) to see what the rest of the year will bring. And who it will bring ;)
I left NYC as a single gal on the desperate search for love (so unsuccessful there) and maybe just maybe, I’ll be even luckier than I currently am and will find an amazing boyfriend along the way. A girl can dream right?
Thanks for chekking in, I promise this won’t be a boring journey to follow.
