Low Impact Cardio ? Maybe: What’s your goal?

It’s not easy to lose fat and maintain lean hard muscle. Also, not matter what anyone tells you, YOU CAN’T SPOT REDUCE. In other words, if you feel that your arms and belly are carrying too much extra weight, you cannot do exercises or eat foods that will only reduce the fat in those areas while keeping the rest of your body the same size. Losing weight is an overall body composition activity. So if your goal is to be fit and have solid lean muscle, you are going to have to minimize the muscle loss while reducing the body fat %. Not an easy thing to do. The most popular method that most people turn to is running. you see it every year right around January 1st when your friends and relatives talk about their New Years Resolution to get in “Shape”. Then many of them go to the gym and hit the stationary bike and treadmill. Better yet, you drive down the street and see hoards of people in small groups jogging. I applaud anyone for doing this, but as long as they realize what the outcome and the goal. If you aspire to have a runner’s physique, then keep running and the more calories burned and the less taken in will get you there. This article focuses on the goal of staying lean with a muscular build that has low body fat % and boasts impressive shoulders, biceps, and pecs. In comes Low-Impact cardio.
