5 Years after the rape. Permanent Side-Effects. (Coping with PTSD)

I have never written this down or told anyone in a public format what happened to me. I have the few members of my family that I have talked to that have been supportive. I have discussed at length with several counselors. For me, reactions to trauma are like a grab bag at a birthday party; everyone gets one, but they are not always the same. Sometimes you get the lollipop but not the toy car.
