Crunchyroll is a membership-based website that focuses heavily on anime and Eastern Asian content. The anime community absolutely loves Crunchyroll and they offer over 900 different anime shows for your entertainment. Whether you have a premium membership account or a free trial, there’s a lot of content to enjoy over at Crunchyroll. There are also manga titles if you’re into that sort of thing and over 200 different Asian drama shows as well. Crunchyroll began as early as 2006 and has been a premium content provider of Asian entertainment and anime shows.

3 Ways to Get A Free Account

You Can Join Popular Anime Facebook Groups

There’s quite a few of these out there and all of them have their own benefits. There’s a lot of large anime groups that post free premium membership logins to Crunchyroll and if you’re a consistent user of these groups, you’re more than likely to grab one. There’s one group in particular called the Reformed Anime Hub that posts a lot of free guest passes so if you log into there a lot and are a regular contributor, you’ll see free guest passes posted there regularly for Crunchyroll.

Also, the group mentioned above has nearly one thousand members and quite a bit of them are Crunchyroll premium members. If you’re a contributor and you ask nicely, you’re almost guaranteed to get a free premium Crunchyroll account.

Anime Forums Are Another Viable Option

Facebook groups are probably the best viable option for getting free premium Crunchyroll accounts but Anime forums are also pretty great. If you have an anime forum account, there’s a high chance that the people posting on there are Crunchyroll premium subscribers. There’re quite a few different forums out there and here are some of the best ones.

The Crunchyroll Official Forums

These forums are the official Crunchyroll forums and you don’t need a premium account to subscribe to these forums. You can do so with a free account. Once you sign up for a free trial, you’ll automatically get a free account to the official forums which will let you post for a request for a free guest pass. Please read the rules pertaining to guest passes because they do have pretty strict rules on when you can request one.

The Crunchyroll Subreddit

It’s true, Crunchyroll has their own very active subreddit. If you’re active in the subreddit, the moderators even run their own weekly guest pass. Be sure to read the rules and stickies that pertain to who can obtain those Crunchyroll free guest passes and make sure to adhere to all those rules because the Reddit mods can be very trigger happy when they want to ban people.

Utilize Crunchyroll’s Facebook

If you look at Crunchyroll’s official Facebook page, it has over 2.5 million followers. No matter when you post a comment on the official Facebook, there’s more than likely people who will see your comment. However, some of the people who are active on that site don’t like when people ask for guest passes or free membership status so be wary of that. You may be met with some negativity but you’ll also be met with some really helpful people as well.

Watching Crunchyroll Content for Free Without Ads

Listen, we get it. We hate ads and so do you. If you want to watch free content without seeing ads every 10–15 minutes, then we recommend two different add-ons for your browser: U-Block Origin and AdBlock. These two ads when paired together are great at blocking most kinds of ads and it’s almost like having a premium Crunchyroll membership account for free, without a trial and without having to pay money. However, be advised that on Crunchyroll, both of these add-ons are touchy and don’t always work.

What Are the Benefits of Crunchyroll Premium?

If you’d like, there’s also a Crunchyroll 14-day free trial which offers premium access to their content. You’ll get to watch content without advertisements, you’ll get to see content that’s fresh from Japan just one hour after it’s released and you’ll get a huge library of Anime & Manga content. After your free trial ends, it’s only $6.95 a month starting out. There are several different plans according to your budget and the content you’re looking for.
