Can You Still Watch Hulu Without An Account?

We have some bad news regarding Hulu and its free subscription membership model. With other services like Netflix and Amazon Prime coming out with fresh new content, Hulu not long ago has decided to end their free Hulu advertisement campaign which allowed free users to watch some shows and movies for absolutely free. This move comes as a relatively bold move and has created quite a stir in the streaming community as a highly controversial move.

According to the VP of Head of Experience, Ben Smith, he stated in 2016 the following:

“As we have continued to enhance that offering with new originals, exclusive acquisitions, and movies, the free service became very limited and no longer aligned with the Hulu experience or content strategy.”

The good news, however, is that Hulu Plus still offers a free trial, so while you’re not able to watch content on Hulu for free anymore, you can still sign up for a free trial and watch Hulu Plus content for 30 days without any kind of commitment or hassle. If you’re not completely satisfied, then you can simply cancel your membership and not pay a dime.

What Do You Get with Hulu Plus?

There are quite a few different plans and all of them start at only $8 a month. You can get access to certain hit television stations like HBO, CINEMAX, and even SHOWTIME. There are add-ons also available for people that are looking for even more programming.

It’s only $8 a month to sign up for Hulu Plus but they also have a new platform called Hulu Live TV. With Hulu Live TV, you can get access to live streaming platforms but this plan does start at $39.99 a month so it’s obviously a bit costlier than their original plan. Is Hulu Plus worth it? We absolutely think so and we would definitely recommend you at least give the free trial a shot.
