I stated that BT corn was deadly to another species. I am proposing that genetically engineered foods could someday suffer from “the law of unintended consequences”.
Have ever heard of L-tryptophan? It was a “safe” natural sleep aid. A biotechnology company figured out how to produce L-tryptophan on an industrial scale; instead of isolating L-tryptophan from natural sources. It was made using a genetically engineered bacteria.
