Unknowing that Ishaan is a child with special needs, his father sends him to an ordinary boarding school. Ishaan, who was originally a cheerful, expressive, and imaginative character, ended up getting worse psychologically.

His parents always force Ishaan to do well, get high grades and rankings in circumstances that his father doesn’t understand. Luckily, Ishaan finally meets Pak Nikumbh, a new teacher at his school. Mr. Nikumbh has a desire to bring back Ishaan’s cheerful and creative nature.

In the reality of our lives, there are many misunderstandings between parents and teachers, in understanding children with special needs, how to accompany them, and how to act.

So that violence and injustice often occur for children with special needs, both because of the actions of their teachers, as well as the actions of their friends and their environment, especially bullying. So if not treated quickly and appropriately can be fatal for the child.

So that a film like Taare Zameen Par which voices many moral messages, as parents, educators, should be an important reference. Even in the world of cinematography, cinema, films with issues like this must have a good place.

Not all children with special needs can communicate well to express their complaints, so it is we who are normal who must understand and be sensitive.
