What would you consider a game changer? a redefining of what you thought was possible? a working miracle? some other third thing? Well, in my case, I believe that you have to have a little bit of all three to be considered as one of the greats in this ever growing and ever changing tech industry. The many advances that have been made in the tech industry not only solidify and galvanize the state of the art but, inspire us all to be, slightly better. These outstanding tech companies that I’m going to list out to you are doing just that; advancing us all to be a little better. (also these companies are all awesome in their own way and not ordered in any particular way)

1.Engineer.Ai, the AI that helps bring your idea to life…

While this London based company has only been around since July 2018 it’s easy to see why it’s already making big headlines. Nabbing almost $29.5 million dollars in a series A funding round this “small” tech company is going to be making huge waves soon enough. So here’s the scoop, engineer.ai uses an ai to sort out what their clients are trying to build, breaks down the project, grabs as much info as it can from the internet then forwards those smaller projects to engineer.ai’s developers. The human developers then code it all together creating the client’s idea in a timely and (usually) less expensive manner. The good thing is that their ai isn’t just flat-out building applications for people(phew!) and is really kinda playing the role of…developer paralegal? but nonetheless, this powerful concept is going to give access to clients that don’t know how to code and give them the means to push out a real world application. I can’t wait to see what applications they are able to pump out in the coming years but for now, we need all the resources we could get, which brings me to….

2. Framer X, frameworks make the dreamwork

ramping up what you already know, like Neo learning Kung-fu(am I reaching?)

Framer X is a design tool to help design out your applications. The neat thing about this tool is that all their interactive components are React based and are available to be used in React productions. Planning out the way your application is designed is vital to your user experience and also extremely helpful to make sure you build a powerfully comprehensive application.

3.Stripe, making money moves…

Cypher getting in on that steak

Stripe, has been around since 2010 and has gradually become the one stop shop(standard?) for developers looking to get in on some e-commerce functionality on their applications and projects. Their easy to incorporate products have made them a big name very fast and with talks of them implementing cash advances, I don’t seem them going anywhere anytime soon.

4.Sendbird, the chat component you always wanted without the coding…

Getting the social party started

Sendbird promises a chat messaging component that could be added to your web applications and mobile apps. Building a chat component to an already existing application and community comes with it’s hardships, but Sendbird makes it nice and easy. If you already have a pretty popular delivery service app I don’t see why it wont be cool to talk to other users trust your service. The more communication between customers the more data we are able to gather about what their likes might be and get their suggestions.(also less work for the client or developer)

5.Sphero, the ball that teaches kids to code…

gotta teach the kids

Sphero’s approach to teaching programming is all encapsulated in their ball(s). Children are able to manipulate the hardware and software that they all work through sphero’s app that slowly teaches them the in’s and outs.
