Who are the Strawberry Generation?
Born between 1981 to 1991, the “Strawberry Generation (Chinese: 草莓族 or 草莓世代)” is a term originating from Taiwan to refer to the younger generation who “bruiseeasily” (akin to strawberries ), possessing limited tolerance to social pressure or hard work, versus earlier generations
who have endured hardships and tumultuous times. The equivalent terminology for “Strawberry Generation” in the western society is “Generation Y”.
