I think this bit I highlighted is what it’s all about Danna. If you write because you love it, you’re a writer.

I believe in high standards for writing, but I don’t understand those who have an elitist attitude about who has the privilege of calling themselves a writer. If you golf, you’re a golfer. If you travel, you’re a traveler. If you write, you’re a writer.
