Social Media Integration

• I have only implemented a single major piece of social media into my site, this being twitter. I’ve done this because twitter is the best option for getting quick messages out to the user base about the status of what is happening, and is also the least intrusive. There is also a function forum that has been made
• The code for implementing social media website is nearly always provided by the social media company, Twitter has many different options for how to implement social media into websites.
• The functionality for these services was tested by creating test post to twitter and ensuring they displayed correctly within the website, the forum which uses a service called nabble. This service allows me to embed a forum within to my website while all the user accounts, infomation and data is stored external through nabble it self. This is also a free service.
• Their were no major issues that were had with implementing the social media side of things for my website, a lot more time was spent on finding the correct options for what my website required.
