We leverage robotics and machine learning to enable visual artists to produce textured artwork made with real paint on canvas — at scale.

  • This role is in-person.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is an exciting time for Acrylic! We’re fresh off releasing our first collection, a collaboration with Matt Chessco, one of Canada’s most prominent artists. You may have seen us on Instagram, where we went viral, gaining over 6 million views, or during our appearance on CBC’s Dragons’ Den. Right now, we’re collaborating with internationally acclaimed artists, launching a partnership with Canada’s top online art marketplace, and working on putting Acrylic paintings in every home in Canada.   • Plan, execute and monitor the progress of technical projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Manage and lead production, ensuring paintings get out the door on time.
  • Participate in and lead project meetings, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Assist in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the project management team.
  • Perform research and analysis related to project requirements and industry trends.

What we’re looking for:

  • University degree in engineering, computer science, commerce, or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in project management and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to haves:

  • A creative thinker with a passion for thinking outside of the box
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Hands-on experience with painting or fine arts
