Firstly Polymath (and the community in general) are still building layer 2 security token protocols on top of Ethereum — our 3.0 release which implements ERC1400 is out for audit with Consensys Diligence right now.

Secondly security token standards are an evolving area and many of the ideas and concepts are portable across different base ledgers.
