The airdrop, in my opinion, was an absolute failure. I could not get my application approved on CoinList because they claimed that Iraq on US OFAC list, which is not true.
They have not even returned the processing fee on Ethereum network. Their team is very responsive on email threads, but nothing is actually done.
I was an early community member when my professor emailed me about the potentials of decentralized computing last year.
I understand application had to abide by KYL, but a decentralized platform should not discriminate a person over another because of their geographical location — like what happened with US citizens and me, a Kurdish Iraqi.
