I genuinely believe that doing a HIIT session two or three times a week can have a dramatic effect on how you look and feel.

There’s nothing quite like the exhaustion you feel after doing 20 minutes of HIIT.

I’ve been running circuit training for about 8 weeks now and I’ve made a list of the simplest and most effective HIIT exercises that require zero equipment.

If you’re anything like me, I can almost guarantee that you will take one look at this circuit and think to yourself that you would complete this with ease.

I've come to learn that I highly underestimate the difficulty of high knees. This exercise will ramp up your heart rate like no other exercise and is insanely difficult to keep going at full intensity for 40 seconds.

If you’re struggling to shed that extra bit of fat give this a go. There are 5 exercises:

**Download this timer for your phone**

It’s called Simple Interval Timer. Adjust the number of sets to 5, the workout time for 40 seconds, and with 10 seconds rest in between.

This App is really good because it makes a sound every time you have to change exercise. You can play music while this runs in the background so you get the best of both worlds.

Challenge yourself to do 5 rounds and you won’t be able talk afterwards you’ll be so out of breath.
