Well said! This multidisciplinary approach means we’re always doing “other people’s jobs” and in a corporate environment it’s frowned upon for a myriad of reasons, the same reasons why it’s necessary for us to work in this manner. Most managers and executives claim they want people to take ownership, and this mindset meets all those expectations… but most employers don’t realize that people who take ownership don’t need traditional management, and they always revert back to leveraging specialized taskers who are compliant and need the work. That’s been my challenge, finding people who value this unique blend of skills and approach. Glad you’re out there man!
