iPhone prices skyrocketing out of my budget, coupled with Apple’s seemingly desperate attempt to brick the old phones with processor-slowing OS upgrades.

Yes, the headphone move. I’m pretty sure this means all my headphones (including my pricey noise-cancelling Beats) won’t be usable with the phone.

The constant connector changes should be handled better; when the new device has Thunderbolt connector, go ahead and give me a couple extra so I don’t feel like a fool buying cords for car and travel. Imagine if the evolution from records to cassettes to CDs spanned four years.

No special freebies? Nothing feels like it was just made for the fans, and out of sheer joy. Everything feels like it’s mostly for the benefit of the investors.
