The Hit List: 20 Demos, Albums and EP’s You Need to Hear Right Now — April 4, 2016

This week, the Hit List expands into an interesting range of subgenres, from electronic and folk to psychedelic-blues and jazz-inspired rock. Some of these artists have consistently made appearances here, and I’m always pleased when they release new material to accompany the albums and EP’s that initially captured and enthralled me. There’s little else to say about the list this week except that it really holds up a focused mirror to the staggering amount of talent that exists out in the world. Creativity doesn’t exist within a box, and I love that these artists (among others!) push the boundaries of what their music is and can be. As always, albums are in no particular order. Enjoy! \m/
