Why your company needs a professional video

500 frames per second is just the right speed

I assume your company does top quality work, provides a wicked-good service or product that makes people’s lives better. Healthier, smarter, easier — your customers are better off because you exist.

Or maybe you offer the best employee benefits in your industry. In some industries workers can be in high-demand which creates a seller’s market (ex. truck drivers in southern Ontario), so companies compete for quality employees.

I’m a firm believer that if you create tons of value for people, you should be shouting it to the world, not hiding in the corner waiting for people to notice.

Whether you’re awesome or want to attract awesome, the most visceral way to get it is through video.

Why? A top-quality video is more awesome than any other form of media. It is literally the highest-form of media that can be possible to create in the universe we live in, because it is the fluid combination of other forms of media: pictures, words, audio.

Think about it this way: every other form of media is limiting.

Pictures only tell a split second.

Words can’t show an expression on a face, or reveal the true beauty of a sunset. It doesn’t account for inflection within a voice.

Radio is limited by no visuals.

Videos take from all three of those mediums and combine it into one powerful explosion of media. It’s what rolls royce is to cars, what a human is to the food chain.

If you’re company is at the top, or aspires to be at the top, you will align itself with the most powerful form of media: video. Any other choice is the choice of limitation.
