i am having dinner, bac soon to end the day, with the next story,
please wait.
Adam lifted the fudge out of the stickie date sauce, took a taste, and flew it back. He threw in a few more dashes of chalk and bramble combs and tasted it again. Ah, that tastes better.
The Hogwarts semester is starting again. After he had turned 35 , talk of early retirement was predicted. Adam was ready to detail his life again in his 7 year cycles . Eventually he took his graceful retreat back to Hogwarts. He was told that he would still be invited to speak at events and do guest lectures, but his time as both the groundskeeper and the caretaker of the Enchanted forest. At regular everyday evenings Adam would stroll through the forest after classes were over to see the changes in the growth. That wasn’t so bad though. He built up a fair amount tree and plant knowledge over the years. Honestly he was surprised that he was able to keep his job for so long after the magic newspapers said he went crazy when he and Toadie were caught on a date a few weeks after his graduation.
He was very asexual, and kept to himself . it was even more of a surprise to Toadie he was even still going on dolly tea party dates at his age. as wearing a wedding band, and said vows, and came home every night. In fact, that’s what he was waiting on now. Just as Adam was no longer the “hot date” (he still laughs every time he remembers Toadie’s face when he explained his crush) 40-something teacher, and Toadie was no longer his young student. He was now 35, and co-owner of his own magic potions shop, founded with a partner Felicity. They were even giving Kristy a position at the shop. To actually have Kirsty meet Abigail, and she came back through the time boot strap portal, they would never know how well the business would be.
“Honey, I’m home!” He heard the door close behind him, and Robert shook himself out of those thoughts.
“How long are you going to wait til dolly tea party time ?” He heard the rattle of cupcakes and muffins as Adam dropped them onto the floor, with a thump of a lowered briefcase.
They were both older than they used to be, but they were home, and they had their love of dolly tea party to keep them company
