My 2015 Top Albums List

The last few weeks have been full of top-10-listsicles of everyone’s favorite records from 2015, and for good reason. Some really good records came out last year. Instead of add to the chorus and force myself to name a certain number, I’ve decided to go a different route and simply list the records I would more than just miss if last year all of a sudden disappeared…records that did more for me than just provide great sound…records I couldn’t live without.

This isn’t meant to trash any albums not on this list — but these transcended for me, be it because of important cultural statements, brilliant introspection into the nature of humanity, masterful storytelling, or all of the above.

Note: if this were a list of singles rather than albums, this might be longer.
