True Survivor

Living in the 21st Century affords unparalleled access to motivation and inspiration. On any given day, a simple scroll of the Facebook gives us (sometimes correctly attributed) access to some of the greatest minds of all time. Be it a quote from Jesus, Albert Einstein, Gandhi, Taylor Swift…the volumes of knowledge and inspiration accessible help propel us to do greater things in both our personal- and business-lives.

In fact, some of the best advice I’ve gotten in awhile came from one of these luminaries. Enter the ‘Hoff.

“We need some action if we’re gonna make it like a true survivor”

Action. Momentum. Getting ‘er done. Whatever you call it, it’s important. When building products, ideas are cheap…execution is what matters. If you want to “make it,” you have to make it. No excuses allowed.

It’s daunting to start from a blank slate, and even harder when making decisions that have the ability to really impact a product or company…but as far as I know time travel doesn’t exist like it does in Kung Fury. You don’t get more time, you only get less. If you’re gonna be a “true survivor,” girl, we need some action.
