I see what you mean, Russell. The older I get the more I realize how early the social pressure started and how severe the consequences were in the mature age. Personaly I feel like at the age of 20 I started to learn some thinks I used to know as a kid simply because the society made me forget them by constantly setting up some rules.

Still I think I was lucky enough for parents I got. Now with a bit of hindsight I see they did their job perfectly by setting up some basic rules but actually leaving me do things that I wanted to. I could always have my own opinions and had to go through many hard things alone as they realized the importance of learning by failures. That’s something I really do feel grateful for.
