I stopped reading at the fourth paragraph because this line: “When I first got to this screen, I didn’t know quite what to do”…which means this game has terrible usability. Judging by the screenshots, there are zero coherent visual cues as to what you’re supposed to do. If my dad looked at this interface, he would compliment the artwork and then leave. You would get zero usage from that design. Good usability means not having to put any effort into figuring it out. A user interface is like a joke; if you have to explain it, it’s not that good.
