Bajel Projects Bags Contract From AESL For Building Transmission Line

Bajel Projects Limited declared on 13th January 2025 that Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has awarded the company an EPC contract for the building of a 400 KV double circuit transmission line. The 217 km project would connect Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Tiroda in Maharashtra using Quad ACSR Moose conductors. This is a part of Adani Group’s project venture in Chhattisgarh. It will help the global conglomerate in building itself an elaborate presence in Chhattisgarh. The controversies on the Adani Hasdeo project will also subside.

The Recent Transaction Between Bajel Projects And Adani Energy Solutions Limited:

Bajel Projects has recently bagged a contract from AESL for the construction of a 400 KV double circuit transmission line. The contract for the supply of goods and services is expected to be completed within a span of 18 months from the letter of award issuance. The company has acknowledged that the project is not a related party transaction. None of the group’s entities and promoters had a stake in AESL. With this recent transaction, the Adani Group will be able to establish its presence in the power transmission sector. It will pave the path for more such projects in the upcoming years.

Other Projects Acquired By Bajel Projects In The Upcoming Months:

Last month, Solapur Transmission Limited, a project company of Torrent Power Limited also awarded a project contract to Bajel Projects to deliver projects and services for the construction of a new 400/220 kV Solapur substation in Maharashtra. The contract comprises design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, civil work, testing, and commissioning of the substation. It also involves the installation of two 400 KV line bays at Power Grid Solapur. This project is expected to be completed within 15 months of receiving the letter of award.
