Sharing my Fiverr Quick Responses

On Fiverr, I find myself sending a wide number of messages every day, from delivering orders, replying to queries, and also a fair number of newbies who are spamming out requests for help getting started (or begging for me to outsource work to them).

While I don’t claim to be any master in managing my time, I have created several quick responses that I use to save time and also get all the appropriate points across, and since I’m a sharing kind of individual, here they are in all their glory for you to borrow, steal, alter and use in any way that you see fit. Use with my blessing!

The Fiverr links in this article are affiliate links. If you go on to use Fiverr, I may receive a small payment to go towards my monstrous coffee habit, but has no impact on you.

Not yet writing on Fiverr? Use these quick responses

Before I follow I provide them all below, I will give you these two useful nuggets of information that explains my thinking in these templates.

Firstly, you can use {username} to automatically make your replies personalised, however, I don’t use it, as I feel “Hey there,” is far better than “Hi freelancer1234,” could ever be. Secondly, I do reply to the spammers generally, for two reasons.

If I happen to be at my desk when they message me, replying quickly helps keep my response time nice and low. If they messaged during the night, I’ll reply anyway, but I then mark them as spam so the time delay does not damage my reply time.

The reason I still reply is that sometimes Fiverr will mark down my reply rate (I’m currently sitting at 99%, grrr) if you just block the spammers, so better to reply first.

How to create a quick reply template

After sending a message, you have the option to save it to your quick responses template. Just click Save as a quick response within the message you just sent.

Alternatively, you can go to the message area within your inbox, the chat area of an active order, or in a delivery message and click on Use a Quick Response and then click Add New.

On Fiverr: Click the Add New button to create a new Quick Response message

In the Quick Response Name area, add the title of the template. Paste the body of the template into the field below. Click Save and you are done.

With no further ado, here are my quick reply templates.

Can Help — Give Details

Hi there.

Thank you for getting in touch.

I can certainly help you with that topic. All I would need from you are a few details, such as word count, topic/title, and a few desired keywords or phrases to incorporate within the article for SEO purposes.

If you’ve any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, please go ahead and place an order for the desired word count and let me know the rest of the information requested on the requirements page. Once I have that, I’ll get to work as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Your Name

What is it for: If you’ve got your gig set up to ask the client to message you first (as you probably should) you’ll be able to vet whether you can help. If you can, here is a simple reply to tell the customer to go ahead and place an order. Alternatively, you can reply asking for the desired word count, and then drop the customer a custom order to help secure the sale.

Can’t Help — Topic

Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Unfortunately, at this time, that is not a topic I’m able to assist you with. I do apologise for any inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Your Name

What is it for: Sometimes you can’t help. maybe you’re busy, maybe the topic is a no from you. I personally don’t often do medical or Crypto topics, so this response is handy.

Acknowledge Order

Hi there,

Thank you for the order. I’ll get started on this as soon as I am able. If I have any questions, I’ll be in touch.

Kind regards,

Your Name

What is it for: You might know you’re going to get the client's job done within the timescale listed on your gig, but the customer is left in limbo if you don’t acknowledge the order in some manner. Don’t leave them wondering if you’ve seen their order with this quick response.

Delivery — Copyscape Clear

Hi there.

Thank you for your order! Your delivery is enclosed. If there are any problems, please let me know. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

As part of your delivery, I have included a Grammarly report to give you an idea of the overall readability scores. If you scroll to the bottom of the report, you will see any issues Grammarly has suggested, but I have disagreed with. This information is just for reference.

In addition, I have included a Copyscape result, which you can see has no hits.

It would mean a lot to me if you could leave feedback, as it will help me here on Fiverr a lot. If anything I’ve provided doesn’t meet your requirements fully, please let me know before you review me and I will endeavor to help improve it.

Thanks again and have a great day! :)

Your Name

What is it for: You’re delivering your order, having checked it through Grammarly and Copyscape. At least, I do. I also provide the clients with a copy of the report from Grammarly, including any issues it has highlighted but I’ve chosen to ignore. Copyscape is clear, and I provide a screenshot of this. Finally, it reminds the customer that you’d appreciate feedback on Fiverr.

Delivery — Copyscape Hits

In addition, I have included a Copyscape result, which you can see does have some hits. This is due to the common factors this topic shares with many other pages, so hits on some phrases are inevitable. However, I have vetted these results and there is no cause for concern — the work is original and distinct from other sites.

It would mean a lot to me if you could leave feedback, as it will help me here on Fiverr a lot. If anything I’ve provided doesn’t meet your requirements fully, please let me know before you review me and I will endeavor to help improve it.

Thanks again and have a great day! :)

I also provide the clients with a copy of the report from Grammarly, including any issues it has highlighted but I’ve chosen to ignore. Copyscape has some hits, which is sometimes unavoidable — especially if you have included quotes or the article is very short and is picking up on simple two or three-word phrases. I provide a screenshot of this. Finally, it reminds the customer that you’d appreciate feedback on Fiverr.

Spammers (Writers)

Hi there.

Sorry, I don’t outsource my writing.

Best of luck to you.

Kind regards,

Your Name

What is it for: As you get more experienced on Fiverr, you’ll start getting spammed, either for advice on getting started or asked to outsource your work. Personally, I don’t outsource my work, but I do give this reply if it benefits my reply rate.

I hope that these might prove useful to some writers over on Fiverr, either to copy outright or to give them the inspiration to create their own set of quick replies, they really do help. My most used reply is the Delivery — Copyscape clear, which you can see is a lengthy message that would be a pain to have to keep re-writing for each client, especially as I just hit 300 completed orders!

Please feel free to drop a follow on my account so I can see some growth here on Medium!
