Day 61 — Rainy Walk — Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day

Today’s beauty came in the form of a walk. Today was one of those day’s when nothing went right, so my husband decided a walk would be a good change. We noticed that our white pine had it’s first ever pinecone hanging in the top of the tree. It a was refreshing walk, but drizzled most of the way and in the end we had to put up an umbrella to keep dry. We saw many different signs of spring despite the dropping temperatures. Red Magnolia blooms were just peering out of their buds. Yellow jonquils were popping up everywhere. Trees were budding. Upon entering the house the weatherman predicted snow.
