Well, I’m still up in the air. If I only own myself because I was created by God that way, then we really can’t extend that to Starbucks or Facebook or any other thing that is not created by God. We can argue that because I own myself I own my private property, and if that includes Starbucks or Facebook, then I can do whatever I want with them. That’s the way it is for my car, but I’m completely responsible for what I do with my car, but I’m not completely responsible for what I do with my ownership of a publicly owned company. I can vote for a board that does something against someone else’s rights and be shielded from the liability. I started out believing a publicly traded company was private property, but I’m beginning to be persuaded it is some weird hybrid because of limited liability. What are your thoughts on this?
