What Causes DrugAddiction?

There are a lot of factors that may induce drug addiction. There is the history or family background of substance abuse, trauma, sexual abuse, peer pressure and being around with people who use drug is also one reason, being in an environment where drugs are accessible, and trying their first substance use at a very young age until they were accustomed to it. Usually this people are long-term abusers of drugs. These are risk factors that may cause drug addiction. However, it doesn’t mean that if you are on an environment of drug addicts, you would also become one.
