I am really curious how this will play out. I agree with the success rate of having a referral program versus more traditional advertising, but commonly referral programs work best when it’s one consumer to one consumer, like a ride sharing app, hotel chain, subscription service, etc. It get’s tricky with businesses because someone may know a business that is in fact struggling with organization, but the decision maker at the business might get in your way more often than you think. You are also limiting yourself a bit to a really small referral market, targeting only businesses that are small enough where an outsider could influence their decision making.
