Pomodoro proved to be quite helpful in my today's activities as I had a huge work load and can’t afford to put it on the ending list. So, I decided to try out Pomodoro on my project work 7 and as it turned out it was very helpful. So, at first, I turned my phone off and logged out of my social media accounts and started planning the work. I decided to write the journal entry first and gave it a time of 35 minutes and set the ringer. A sense of urgency came in and a feeling of challenge made me realize the effectiveness of the technique and I was able to complete the read and assessment on time and then gave myself a five minutes break and then started writing the journal entry and this time the timer was there also but with shorter time on it of 25 minutes. And this time it took me 24 mins and I had a minute to spare.

Then I had a break of 30 mins and set timer for kindness blog on 40 min and again the sense of urgency was there and chunked this piece in 3 steps 1. Compile the material 2. Manage the material and searched for pictures to make blog look good and then finally 20 mins for typing.

This time it took a bit longer than expected as I was slow in tying and wandered here and there but was able to complete in 30 mins and this technique again proved helpful.

This challenge roved quite helpful in getting things done. There was a sense of urgency, a sense of challenge, a fear of failure and being staying behind. At the same time, it was quite exciting, the race with the clock. I am looking forward to using this technique quite a lot in future also.

Procrastination is a fact and we can take measures to get over it and its not always easy to break the chains but with proper tools and mindset we can achieve what we want. There is always another way another door what we need to do is keep knocking on the doors and one will lead to success.

Procrastination can be over came and there is another way to overcome procrastination is Namaz as it teaches us how to manage time and be present at the right time.
