I was contacted to train over 40 promising youth on Solar Energy Installation in Benin and Auchi,Edo state. What a privilege to nurture these youth into the renewable world. They were eager to learn and most had creative ideas on how to solve problems using solar energy. Projects were presented after the training which made me emotional (the ideas were great), but a particular group was outstanding. They decided to build a mini-grid for shops in Benin City. The organisers were so excited about the outcome but ‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instil a love of learning.’ They had the privilege to present their idea to the Vice President during a visit to Edo state. Hopefully, they get some funding’s to develop their ideas. This was in partnership with Lead360, AGDC & First Bank.
