Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Turn on the Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker Pro and set to the Sauté/Sear function (HIGH). Press START to preheat.
Heat the vegetable oil and sear the chicken thighs until browned. Remove the chicken and set it aside. In the same pot, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until softened. Add the tomato sauce, heavy cream, yogurt, tomato paste, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Return the chicken to the pot.
Set the cooker to the Slow Cook function on Low for 6 hours, then press START. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
