JetBlue, headquartered in Queens, New York, is an American low-cost airline. They are pet friendly 1–716–791–9668 and allow pets to travel both in the cabin and as extra baggage. Here is their request policy.
Pet Guidelines
Only small dogs and cats can travel in the cabin in an FAA-approved pet bag that fits comfortably under the seat in front of you. Only one pet per customer is allowed.
Jet Blue does not accept pet remains, cremated or otherwise, in the cabin or as cargo.
Service Animals

Booking your Pet
You can book your pet online, through 1–716–791–9668 the JetBlue mobile app or by contacting JetBlue. Pets can be added when booking in the Extras section.
- The pet fee is USD 125 (One Hundred Twenty Five United States Dollars) one way.
- Pets are limited to six pets per flight.
- Your pet and approved pet carrier count as one personal item and must fit under the seat in front of you. The pet carrier must not exceed 17" L x 12.5" W x 8.5" H (43.18 cm L x 31.75 cm W x 21.59 cm H) and the combined weight of your pet and carrier must not exceed 20 poundsAre you traveling Blue Basic price? - Pets are not allowed at Mint.
- Pets are not accepted on interline/codeshare reservations (regardless of where or how the reservation is made), except on certain direct flights operated by American Airlines within the United States.

Travel Requirements
Pets Travelling Domestically:
JetBlue accepts pets on all domestic flights.
Vaccination requirements for travelers to 1–716–791–9668 the United States vary by state. Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands require documentation of pet vaccinations.
Customers are responsible for understanding animal importation requirements and obtaining all necessary documents before traveling with a pet.
Pets Travelling Internationally:

At the Airport
If you have already paid the pet fee and your pet is approved for travel, you can check in online, through the JetBlue 1–716–791–9668 app or at an airport kiosk 24 hours before your flight.
Upon arrival at the airport, visit the full-service counter or speak with a JetBlue crew member in the self-service lobby to attach a JetPaws® bag tag to your pet’s carrier. Your pet must remain in its closed/zipped carrier while you are at the airport.
Pet Carriers/Crates
The pet and the carrier count as carry-on baggage. Your pet must be able to stand and move easily in the carrier..
- Carriers cannot exceed 17″ L x 12.5″ W x 8.5″ H (43.18 cm L x 31.75 cm W x 21.59 cm H)
- The combined weight of your pet and carrier cannot exceed 20 pounds.
- Carriers must have leak-proof bottoms and be well ventilated.
- Soft-sided and hard-sided carriers are accepted.
- Containers that allow for possible escape will not be accepted.
- Only one pet per carrier is allowed.
- Pet carriers may be purchased at the airport ticket counter for USD $55 (fifty-five US dollars). Quantities are limited.
