Utah Firefighter Rescues Dog From Frozen Lake
Amidst freezing temperatures and icy storms, a Utah firefighter heroically saves a dog from a frozen lake. Earlier this week, a video of a firefighter leaping into a frozen over lake in order to save a fearful dog who had decided to go for a swim began going viral.
This courageous firefighter is from North Davis Fire District in Utah, where temperatures have continued to hit below freezing. After the video began spreading online, North Davis Fire District commented on the viral video through a Facebook post that reads “Bob the dog loves the water but the ice shelf prevented him from being able to get out after his polar plunge.” Thanks to this fearless firefighter and his colleagues, Bob the dog was successfully pulled from the frozen waters and into safety.
