If i understand the message you were trying to pass across through these pictures, you were trying to say that when kids behave in certain manners we think is not right, we as parent have the duty to guide them and make them understand the consequences such behaviours may cause in their lives in future, since your daughters’s behaviour is actually “her culture” then she has behaved in a perfectly acceptable way no need not go Stanislavski on her.
As regard my question which made you replied: “Because clearly, Wife and i dont know what we’re doing” I come from a society where its our culture for teenagers to be courteous in their response to their parents. Rudeness and insensitivity on the part of a teenager or anybody is regarded as being uncultured. I have seen kids behave in certain manners which i consider to be negative and disgusting and its sort of gaining prevalence some how, which was the reason i asked that innocent question .
I am a proud African lady with well-behaved kids, i will not condone any rudeness from my kids! Glad my kids dont have an “uncultured way of behaviour”
