A milestone achieved; a huge journey ahead.

A great big, fat thank you…


Typically in a post like this, I’d be expected to talk about all of Hassle.com’s great achievements like the fact that at the start of the year, Hassle.com had only five employees all working hard to help busy working professionals find the most trustworthy cleaners in their local area. Fast-forward a few months to May and we are now 20 employees, have completed tens of thousands of hours of cleaning and are working with some of the best, most trusted cleaners in London and Manchester, and as I write, we have just gone live in Dublin.

What I really want to say here is thank you. Thank you to Accel for investing $6m in us, but more importantly believing in and sharing our vision. Thank you to my co-founders Tom and Jules who have worked tirelessly (and put up with me). Thank you to all those fantastic people who have contributed to our success, from giving us free office space to free advice. Thank you to Kate & Helen, whom many of you speak to when you call the Hassle.com office; they believed in us early in our journey when we had very little funds and all we could offer was an uncertain future. Thank you to all the new guys that have joined us recently and getting past the ‘unsexy’ nature of our product and seeing the true vision. A massive thank you to all of our customers for the regular feedback that you give us to help improve the service and for supporting us as a fledgling company.

Finally, to all the amazing men and women on the Hassle.com platform who provide such an incredible service to their customers. I have saved the biggest thank you for you. For without you, all we would have is hassle, rather than Hassle.com.

I’m immensely looking forward to the next chapter in the story of Hassle.com as we seek to clean up in Europe…. Watch this space!
