There’s a search for God inherent in man’s mind. There’s a desire for the spiritual or supernatural that dwells in man. Over the ages, man has tried to make contact with God by himself and has been futile in his search. But the beautiful thing is God hasn’t left Himself without a witness. What I mean is that what man is going to the ends of the earth to find is very close to man. God Himself has made Himself close to all men.

The issue, however, is often man. I believe man stands in his own way of knowing God. He believes and trusts in his mind a lot. He puts value on his intellectual ability while overlooking the spiritual or the unseen aspect of his makeup.

My point is simple.

God has made knowing Him very easy, but man will always find a way to complicate this process. God, who cannot be seen, has chosen a way to make Himself visible and relatable to man. He’s done this by taking on humanity so He can relate with man in a way man can understand Him.

So, to keep it simple, to know God is to know Jesus. To know Jesus is to know God.

The Bible provides all the information you’ll ever need about that statement.
