Sandeep Chowta’s Abstract Visions, A Meta Jazz Fusion
The most awaited music album “ABSTRACT VISIONS” by genius master Sandeep Chowta, (International music composer, Jazz maestro, Indian film music director), is out now.
As per its name, its abruptly abstract, unpredictable and undefinable!! To understand its vision, one has to imagine to be either on Mars or an artificial universe or I can quote it as an unexplored futuristic Meta Music.
It’s first track, “All Rise” is a masterpiece which became close to my heart in one hearing!! First half of the track has amazingly unique vibes, I was blown away with it’s elevation, senses and sensitivities. What an exceptional composition, unexplainable experience and deep emotions imbibed which gave me goosebumps, kudos to the pianist Israel Storm, bass guitarist Seb Reeds and electric guitarist Abhay Nayampalli. I was feeling like, I am meeting with my father in heaven, brought tears in my eyes. Style of Abhay’s playing is full of expression and leaves the imprints of his great guru’s teaching!! All of a sudden, in second half, a wonderful transition takes place and it swings the entire mood with funky and electronic Jazz!! At the end it merges with the beginning!!
Tracks like “Entropy” and “Diego’s Calling” are led by wonderful Trumpet artist Diego Hedez who created his magic there with such difficult notes and great variations, Seb Reeds who played Bass, is a backbone of these tracks, knows how to drive and switch the emotions. Also piano is a bliss and complimentary to trumpet and bass, Javier Jabara is an awesome artist!!!
Track like Activate is full on life, it charges the soul with such a joyful Jazz music, great variations, flawless playing of all artists in perfect sync, all the artists Hector, Aaron, Koke and Seb are blessings to this track.
Last track “Abstract Visions”, is fully abstract, starts with sound of public spaces, electronics and techno music, it makes realize like we are on different planet and everything is so strange going above the head, hundreds of thoughts floating in the mind and then you become alone, there is a peace left with piano and synth.
All the artists are so professional and brilliant. They all truly deserves a great applause, my heartiest congratulations to the legendary Master Sandeep Chowta ji who is conceptualizing and producing such quality music which is beyond my imagination.
Complete album is my favorite and all 5 tracks are on the next level!! If one has good taste in music and understanding of fusion and Jazz then this is the most precious and best collection ever!!
