Sandeep Chowta, India’s most versatile and innovative musician, music producer, and music director, consistently astounds with his musical brilliance. His latest release, “Cinematic X,” marks a significant stride toward unconventional fusion.
This is his 39th music album in last 3 years, released on his international music label “Namma Music”. Such an incredible, unimaginable and craziest achievement I have ever seen in my life!! Kudos to him!
On the first day of its release, it became No.1 on the All India ITunes Charts.
Cinematic X album is really unique in multiple sense, it is giving a fair, equal chances and opportunities to the bunch of young super talented musicians from the globe. It’s compositions, arrangements, mixing and sound effects cover a wide range, including every conceivable type of produced sound effect.
This is the musical bouquet of 8 tracks and each tracks has a different vibes, listener can feel the superlative quality of fusion music.
First track “Memoires” by Henrique Mota & Seb Reeds, generates very mystical and suspensive experience created on piano and bass guitar, it is painting a very unseen visualisation, featuring surprising improvisations in the playing.
Second track “New Beginnings” delivers a remarkably fresh and delightful sensation. it boasts an enchanting composition, great melodic synchronisations between electric guitar, drum, piano and bass guitar. Abhay Nayampalli knows how to hypnotise the emotions of listeners with his unparalleled guitar playing and he is definately blessed with divine energy and guidance.
Third track “Mirage of Memories” stands out as a personal favorite., what an emotional drift accompanied with soft piano and bass, tugs at the heartstrings. The introduction of drums elevates the mood, taking listeners on a vivid evocative journey. Henrique Mota and Seb Reeds demonstrate that a magical performance can be crafted with just two primary instruments.
Fourth track “Celestical Echoes” is the most plausible melody, captivating composition and the exceptional sound track of this entire album by the master Sandeep Chowta, Hector Moreno’s brilliant use of monophonic and polyphonic synths, especially the thrilling variations, captivated my attention. The magnetic reverse sound loop in the background adds a unique touch, creating a synchronization that stimulates the heart. It felt akin to a journey back in time with a time machine, reminiscent of watching past memories unfold like scenes in a Flash movie. Special acknowledgment is due to Seb Read and Marcus Thomas for their excellent contributions on the bass guitar and drums, collectively making this track truly distinctive.
Fifth track “Hectic” blows the awesome energy from starting till end, unexpected introductory piece of guitar created a wow factor and later track kicks the mood with the help of flawless drum, bass guitar and synth in the flow. It has the power to transform the temprament of listeners. The grip of this entire gig is unbreakable, it is very immersive track, doesn’t loose the hold.
Sixth track “Eternity” showering the fervours on the entry of Abhay’s guitar with Seb’s bass and hosea’s drum. It ends with Cristopher’s saxophone that changes the whole aura and frame of mind with its sentiments. Great track!
Seventh and Eigth Track are “Lost and Found” featring Olle Hugo, these are in two different versions and first one is original recording and another one is immersive mix. As per it’s name, it has a very scary and strange inclinations with surprising elements. It feels like I am roaming in a haunted place and encounter with shocking events. This track has a wonderful cinematic vibes. Another version with immersive mix makes it more real and smashing.
All tracks are really successful in shaping the atmosphere, expressing an emotion or a moment’s essence, and has the ability to establish the overall mood. It’s melodies, instrumentation and music have the power to evoke strong sentiments and feelings in any human being.
Maestro Sandeep Chowta has succesfully achieved his music goal in this album and executed his creativity, originality and visionory thoughtfulness by constructing the work of a great team of professional musicians like Henrique Mota, Seb Read, Abhay Nayampally, Hector Moreno, Aaron Smith, Marcus Thomas, Hosea Butler, Murillo Texeira, Filipe Rosset, Christopher Perez and Olle Hugo. Also the master sound engineer Vikram Ghatpande is the the backbone of Namma Music who is credited for creating an amazing mix for this 39th album too.
