HOLY BRIBERY
Bribery is a traditional evil in every nation, it has eaten deep into the bone and Marrow of every currupt Nation. Both young and old understands the language of Bribery, and you are considered a novice when you refuse to speak it or yield to its command.
Examination malpractices ( From primary to tertiary institutions) only survive by the strength of Bribery, Terrorism is preserved to dominate by its strength, Judgment are perverted by its support, it is the beginning and the ending of Political dishonesty, it is a catalyst that speed up the rate of unnecessary inflation, it is the beauty of the ugliness of wickedness, and the hope of all levels of Corruption.
Sometimes , to secure a Job, contracts, admission to schools, to escape punishment of Law, etc, Bribery is the way out for many most times .
Even now, Bribery has found a place among the Hollies . It has taken a seat of power among many Pastors, Music ministers, Head of Church department, General overseers, etc.
Sometimes Junior Pastors must continually bribe Senior Pastors directly or indirectly to get promotion or a transfer to "fruitful fields". And those who trust in the promotion from above are sometimes demoted or left unpromoted for donkey numbers of years, unless God intervene.
Many Junior pastors have suffered in the hands of their Senior ones, because they refuse to bribe or yield to their selfish demands. Many has been deliberately transfered to places where they will suffer because they refuse to play to the ungodly tune of so called "spiritual leaders".
Today, many has become Elders, Baba Ijo (Church Father) , Iya Ijo( Church mother) , Apostles, Deacons, Deaconesses, Head of choir, Head Ushers, etc in the Church even when they lack the necessary requirement to be one, because they know how to maneuver their ways to the top through bribery.
Bribery can sometimes look like innocent gift, but it can pervert the heart of the receiver or influence his intentions. So the difference between a godly gifts and bribery is the motive of the givers and/or the receivers.
Prophet Amos said : "For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a #bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right." Amos 5:12.
And Job made a proclamation : " For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery."Job 15:34
Let's say "NO" to BRIBERY, don't bribe and don't allow yourself to be bribed. Stay Undefiled!
