WHAT I MET INSIDE THE VALENTINE PACKAGE.
I have been a girl who cherished gift so much, any guy going into a relationship with me must be rich. I am interested in rich guys that are capable of buying me gifts. But I learnt my lesson by experience at a valentine program.
During the Valentine period I am always happy, WHY? Because so many guys would be presenting me different gifts. How I learnt my lesson.
A week to valentine we are told during the Sunday service, that the church would be organizing a valentine program. In this program, we would be exchanging gift with anyone we feel like during the program. I don't know that there are some principle of giving that is applicable to our natural world, until this day. Throughout the week all I was thinking was the program, mainly because of the gift I would be receiving. I went to buy a 60 leaves book and packaged it in an attractive way, in a way that nobody would know it was a book.
The long awaiting day finally came, and I was fully prepared for that day. When the time for gift presentation came, I was so happy. I carried my gift that had been well packaged, looking for anyone holding good gifts like phones, shoes among others. So many people were bringing gifts toward me, but I was not giving them attention at all.
Fortunately, I saw a brother not too far from me. I began to move toward him. And the gift in his hand was looking like a phone, I hurriedly exchange my gift with him. In my mind, I was happy and laughing, saying " Thank God, I got a good gift now".😜 In my mind I was happy because I thought I have fooled him.😏 After exchanging the gift, we ended the service and we were told not to open the gift, until we get home.
Immediately, I found my way home, I was so curious to unwrap the gift. When I unwrapped the gift, I saw a Iphone pack, I was shedding tears of joy. By the time I opened the pack of the phone, I can’t believe the odour that came out and what my eye saw.🤮 It was actually unbelievable for me, I met four slice of dry bread that have encountered harmattan and heat combined together.
The next thing that comes to my mind was "WHY ME?" But I could remembered that it was as a result of what I did. And that was how I learnt my lesson by experience that day. 😤
