Interestingly Mad People #1
The Story Of People With Real Events.
I’ve met a lot of people. Every person we meet, we are meant to meet and I strongly believe that “We all have something to teach each other”.
We are who we spend most of our time with. If we have a network of positive friends, that will help us to live with positivity.
We don’t know why we should be artists, but we have many reasons why we can’t be. Why do people instantly resist the idea of associating themselves with art? Perhaps you think art is for the greatly gifted or for the thoroughly and professionally trained. And some of you may think you’ve strayed too far from art.
This is the theme of my Medium story. We are all born artists.
Humans have amazing capacity to create anything, all it requires is imagination and that’s exactly what made me connect with Divya Ramachandran
Divya is a Business Designer from Domus Academy, Italy. Currently, she lives in Chennai. She spends most of her time in traveling, writing, teaching, singing, and sketching. Drawing has been her love since childhood and now she uses it for telling stories.
Instead of words, she prefers to describe through her artwork. Indeed, an artist is a storyteller.
Everybody has a story to tell and a unique talent to share and I promised myself to collaborate with anybody and everybody I meet.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much
The crazy creatives are the ones who go completely mad. They aren’t so easily disheartened by the seemingly endless amounts of scrutiny that creative individuals tend to receive because of healthy ambition.
I would like to share some of the interesting stories which made us collaborate. These are priceless joys that lead to a change in our perspective.
Remembering Project Blue Suitcase
Think outside the box? Indeed. But to add balance to that, one should not in the process forget what the inside of the box looks like as well. This is where true creativity comes into play. For an artist, there’s nothing better than having the opportunity to create the world that doesn’t- but could- exist.
#BlueSuitcase was one of the pet projects which started off when an old blue suitcase was found with kabadiwalla passing by Divya’s home.
Later I myself and Divya took a tour around the city to observe the beautiful colors of Madras and try to create a contrasting environment while using the suitcase in the shoot, experimenting how the unique colors stand out in gray shades and how the cities spot add to complementing the pandora’s box.
We all have the same number of hours in our day. Why do some of us run around, constantly stressed, complaining we “don’t have time,” while others seem to approach life in a relaxed and happy state but still get plenty done?
We can take control by saying yes to less and appreciating the white space in our diary. We can protect our precious time for the activities and people that give our lives the most meaning and joy.
Project Duality — Half Of Me & Half Of You
Our modern obsession with being busy leads many of us to feel we don’t have enough time in our days.
It’s an interesting thing, the way we live our lives, the way we are all so different from each other. Yet somewhere in our mundane routines, we do the same things, feel the same things and manage to connect as unique individuals.
A good start is to find some time to invest in pet projects, hobbies, and ourselves.
This is how #ProjectDuality started off. From a simple post online to a deeper understanding of how we all live our lives, each hour passing by, some intersections bound to happen which we can all resonate with.
Picasso A Day — Workshop
As Picasso once said: “Everything you can imagine is real.”
It’s the enjoyment of every step in the process of doing; everything, not only the isolated piece we label art. If accomplishing is the only goal, all that it takes to reach that goal is too slow, too fatiguing — an obstacle to what you want to achieve.
Art is an adventure, embrace it.
Each painting is a universal archive, a picture of the universe and like a dream.
It was fun and challenging when we collaborated together to make a massive painting of a guitar.
“The best teamwork comes from people who are working independently toward one goal”.
By supporting other people with their intentions and goals has brought me more focus on my own. Few of my peers check in with me to tell me about how they are doing with their intentions so I can cheer them on, it’s a gentle and kind reminder that I also have my own to progress and share with them.
The biggest hurdle for all of us is to dive into our own potential and to see our own selves as incredibly beautiful and gifted personalities. Everybody has a story to tell and a unique and distinct talent to share.
The horizon of my world expanded multiple folds and the result of these interpersonal connections seemed endless.
Some people like to believe that the Universe is random. There is nothing random about the Universe. That is where they are on their journey. Nothing wrong with that. Love the randomness and embrace it.
All we need is the time to foster the connection.
