I really liked the visitors option. Not only it gave me a pretty decent read on initial interest, it was fun. Spending any time on dating sites is usually not that enjoyable. OKC has some features that distinguish it from other sites in this respect, but I feel not everyone in your distinguished and fabled company like this distinction as much as I do.

I know that any service that craves longetivity needs to distrupt itself every now and then, and when something familiar changes, some people will always be a little angry. It is, however, apparant that OKC rushes into changes with some sort of geeky zeal. Not all those changes turn out to be good ideas. When character traits came in and some users found they’re labled as “more sex driven” or “more kinky”, for example, or when better search results (“new and match %”) disappeared to put more focus on the unknowable “Special Blend”, it felt like maybe smooth functionality and a sense of easy fun might be sacrificed for the benefit of the business side of OKC. This is manifest in the fact that, despite protests, OKC kind of doubled down on the two changes I just mentioned. I really hope this time will be different. You’re a smart bunch. Listen to your users, guys :)
