I think one of the major markets for messaging is India. As of today, Whatsapp is the major player here with most local players falling short significantly. In fact, many local businesses use Whatsapp as a communication/ordering medium for customers. It would be really exciting to see if any new messaging app can outperform Whatsapp in India.
