Importantly, many of the internal police, judicial, prosecution/indigent defense systems are antiquated and paper-based. Willing entities should collaborate with you to streamline processes and make them less stressful for all involved. For example, NYPD just invested in a mobile device initiative that allows officers to look up someone’s criminal record when they stop them. Access to information can help combat presumptions during interactions. Tech can also provide platforms to give feedback to institutions/make them more transparent.
