A team of researchers from Netindia (P) Ltd., Hyderabad and The University of Michigan did a study on Electronic Voting Machines and published a research paper on it.

Yes. EVM with paper trail.

Co-incidentally, Dr. Subramanian Swamy, the one who explained the process deserves the credit.

Dr. Subramanium Swamy with full preparation and evidence filed the cases in Delhi High Court and Supreme Court. Supreme Court of India took note and on October 8th 2013 delivered judgment against EVMs in India.
