Exhaust yourself, put on the blinders

Exhaust yourself. No, seriously. Do it. Work very hard at whatever you do and just tire your body. This is how you can escape reality. This is how you can sleep at night. Get so busy that you have no choice but to put the blinders on and you have no way to see what is happening around. This will keep you sane. This will keep you from debating about serious stuff like right and wrong. This will help you earn money and respect of society. And the money, in turn, will help you keep busy on weekends so you can put those blinders on again.
Otherwise, you will have free time. Oh, the horror! Your mind will start thinking. It will try to be logical. It will look around the world and feel miserable. It will make you realize what you are doing is not real. And what good will come out of that? Nothing! It will keep you awake at nights, it will drive you insane, it will suck the life out of you bit by bit. You don’t want that. No sir! You want to drive away in your luxury car, you want to go shopping, you want to be in the office till late so you get to buy more stupid stuff.
Oh! I sound like the miserable kind, don’t I? Yes, I used to be in that place where I could see all the things going wrong in the world. I was miserable. I had insomnia. I woke up at the sound of a pin. I had nightmares both at night and in the day. I read books and listened to music. They made it worse. It was absolutely terrible. Until one day, I found the secret to life — have no time to think or look at things that matter — exhaust yourself, put on the blinders, escape reality.
