Internet of Things (IOT) has been a buzzword which is to be understood and is considered as one of the innovations which will shape our future. The IOT sector is developing at an exponential rate and will be having a huge market in the coming years.

Gartner, Inc. forecasts that: “8.4 billion connected things will be in use worldwide in 2017, up 31 percent from 2016, and will reach 20.4 billion by 2020. Total spending on endpoints and services will reach almost $2 trillion in 2017.”

It is also stated that “Consumer Applications to Represent 63 Percent of Total IoT Applications in 2017.”

Its huge, you may have realized by now and IOT domain is one of the most focused domain in current time.

So the question comes why is it booming at such a high rate?

The answer is very simple; IoT wants to connect all potential objects to interact each other on the internet to provide secure, comfort life for human. IoT developments bring exciting opportunities to make our personal lives easier as well as improving efficiency, productivity and safety for many businesses. We have seen an explosion of IoT advancements in the past years be it in wearable technology, smart homes, smart city, agriculture, heath sectors or in industries.

It seems interesting how the devices talk to each other and do our desired work at our tip. At the same time it also creates the curiosity how this tech actually works and want to learn.

Often people have asked me that from where to start and what to learn in order to work in this sector. This time I’ll be bringing a series of blogs through which I’ll be sharing the knowledge which I have gained in IOT in last year.

FAQ#1: How the series is going to proceed?

There will be regular blogs covering all the necessary concepts which are required to learn the advancing technology of IOT.

FAQ#2: What will be the covered in series?

I will start from basics; starting from Embedded systems, Arduino, ESPs to IOT. We will also be covering various protocols, cloud and other services required to enable the task.

FAQ#3: What will the be the approach of series?

This series will be focused on project based learning and covering concepts related to it. We will start from level 0.

FAQ#4: What’s next?

In next blog I’ll be introducing you to the embedded systems. We will be start by learning Arduino.

If you’re interested in along with the series, make sure to follow this account for regular updates.

Now, time to start learning some cool stuff with some new hacks….
