Aditya Radhakrishnan’s Personal Life

Aditya Radhakrishnan was born on May 7, 1989 in West Windsor, New Jersey. Radhakrishnan lived with his parents, who are from India, and his younger brother Arvind. He has lived in New Jersey most of his life and his family is very important to him.

Radhakrishnan grew up enjoying sports and movies. He likes watching Hindi movies as well as comedies and thrillers. He watched basketball and football from time to time, but he never played sports. He is a Knicks fan, but his overall favorite player is Stephen Curry. As an Indian-American, his parents immersed him in Hindi and Indian culture as well as American culture. He is fluent in English and Hindi and speaks some Tamil.

Radhakrishnan has always wanted to be a psychiatrist. Growing up, his goal grew into wanting to help people through their hardest times. He wants to work in the New Jersey area in an academic setting instead of a community hospital.

Because of his passion in the medical field and his desire to help others with their struggles, Aditya Radhakrishnan went on to NYU in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School to earn a bachelor’s degree in neural science and a Doctor of Medicine. He is currently in his last year of psychiatry residency.
